Matthew McAllister Album Bach & - Brouwer

Postby mmapag » Tue Apr 07, 2015 10:56 am

I bought this recording yesterday. I have been looking for a recording of some Bach as I'm just learning to love this music. Matthew (our fellow Delcamper) did a most outstanding job on this recording!! Beautiful phrasing, pacing and tone. Just a lovely listen. Give it a look. I doubt you will regret it.

Thanks for sharing. I can't easily find the CD, but I was able to find it on some online music services.

Yes indeed; arrived a couple of weeks ago and I have been enjoying it since, along with "French Collection".

Enjoying the "French Collection", nearly said the French Connection there , beautifully played Matthew as usual but I must go back and listen to Merula.

Glad French Collection is a hit, it is nice to hear that Merula is still in your collection. It was a début album way back in 2004 but I am still really proud of so much of it. There are some lovely Ralph Towner tunes on it which I haven't played for years.
