Greetings from New Milton on the edge of the New Forest, Hampshire, Uk

Postby leslietranter » Mon May 18, 2015 7:24 pm

Hi, This is my introductory post; I am seventyone years old and have been studying classical guitar with Stephen Kenyon at the Coda Music Trust here in New Milton for six years, I did not start until I was sixtyfive and had not previously played any music instrument. I am currently playing grade five pieces, mainly Fernando Sor, Carcassi and Stephen Kenyon's Five Pieces for Solo Guitar. Tomorrow is my last lesson before my extended summer break - I find it difficult to maintain the necessary practice schedule during the summer period as there are so many other pressures and commitments. My main objective during the summer is to maintain the pieces which I have "perfected" in readiness to continue lessons in September.
