Hi folks,
does someone know the Presonus Inspire FireWire Audio Interface?
I am looking for a way to record MP3´s and i need some advice about that before i will spend money on it.

Thanks for your help

The presonus Inspire is a good choice for recording either through a phantom powered condenser mike or a dynamic mic. If you think you might also be recording a trio or quartet, I would suggest the 4 channel firebox which incidentally has a better sound than the inspire and can be used as a pro quality recording. Among the cheaper firewire interfaces, I think the presonus has the best sound, compared to m-audio, behringer, E-mu, edirol and other brands.
