Hello from Chicago

Post by jesuisravi » Wed Aug 31, 2016 7:12 am

I have been playing guitar, classical and lately acoustic, since I was 17. I am now almost 70. That being said, my playing is still algo para morir de risa. Even so I love the guitar, have always, and still forlornly hope to improve my playing. I was listening to Julian Bream playing Weiss's Passacaglia this evening and was carried to this site on a wave of...well, you know what I mean.

Hello and welcome from Oak Park. As a septuagenarian myself, I can attest that this is a great place to chat, grow, and become a better musician. Enjoy, and welcome once again.

I know Oak Park well. But I am not actually in Chicago--I used Chicago as a proxy for Rockford because of its notoriety. The only people who know where Rockford Il is are Tri Staters
