Hello! - Singapore

Post by nokturnal » Tue Mar 14, 2017 4:24 pm

Dear Forumers,

I am from Singapore. Been playing classical & little flamenco for years and i am still loving it!

Been join some ensembles, playing solo, duets and stage performance for some time. My favorite still the 6 strings classical, where i can enjoy when alone. I liked Sor, Carulli, Carcassi etc.

At the same time Dominiconi caught my attention but his piece rather hard to play and understand. Played koyunbaba and it indeed push me hard to get a good guitar :)

i am using a Takamine Hirade, and a Esteve model 7. The Esteve Adalid, Hermanos Conde, Antonio Aparicio, Kohno and Sakurai are from friends, and i am loving those guitars they have. People says, other's are always better than yours! So i am earning and buying at the same time!

Current repertoire are wide, as i am chinese songs lovers as well. I liked Arrangements, and tried arranged few chinese pop songs.

As my age growing, i think i have to have some master pieces in hand, at least i can gave an explanation to my lovely guitars haha! Pieces that i target now are:

1. El Decameron Negro
2. Variation on theme of Mozart
3. Recuerdos de la Alhambra
4. Some A. Lauro compositions
5. Boeto Andaluz

I liked the 5th most now and i can't get the speed i wanted at the moment. Maybe someone can share how to speed up and in control!
Thanks for reading and happy to join this forum. Ciao for now amigos!
