Hello from Sweden

Post by WernerMrazek » Tue Mar 14, 2017 6:56 pm

I am a retired Patent Attorney. I have loved the classical guitar for over 50 years, but unfortunately I am not a good player myself. Thus, I only play for myself and my polite wife.

Some years ago I happened to see a book on guitar making in a book store, and was so fascinated by it that I decided to try to build one from essentially scrap wood. To my surprise it turned out to be quite playable. I have since built more guitars and intend to follow the luthier category on this forum.

A problem for me is that my eye sight is rather poor. For this reason I may have trouble to produce enough messages to remain a member. We will see what happens. You may wonder how I can build guitars with bad eye sight. Well, they are probably not so pretty, but it is amazing how sensitive fingertips really are. So much of what I can not see I can feel.

Please forgive my Swenglish.

Regards,

Werner Mrazek
