Greetings from Helsinki - again

Post by Matti » Sat May 27, 2017 7:38 pm

Dear members,

I am a returning member from Helsinki, Finland.
I started to play classical guitar in my adult years, took lessons and practiced a little, at a very elementary level.
I have now taken a lengthy break and forgotten a lot, but perhaps some of it will come back if I find myself a couple of easy tunes.

And, of course I return to this informative and inspirational site.

Thanks Erik,

Now that you brought up levels... "levels" vary from country to country.
In this level system, on what level would you find pieces such as Barrios´s "Preludio en C menor" or El Sueño de la Muñeca, or Tarrega's Lagrima preludio?
Just as examples, to give me an idea. They are by no means pieces I could perform any time soon.

I believe that El Sueño de la Muñeca, and Tarrega's Lagrima are level 5. Barrios' Preludio en C menor is level 6.
