Hi from North Carolina

Post by thof » Tue Jul 11, 2017 11:26 pm

Hello everyone, I just discovered this forum while searching for a particular transcription for classical guitar, Bach's BWV 639. I live in Chapel Hill, NC. I used to play a lot 20 or so years ago, but let it slip and am now getting back into it. I forgot most of what I knew and what I could do, but it is slowly coming back. This forum looks like a great resource, so I hope to be part of it. I play mostly classical and my plan for the near future is to learn that BWV 639 piece, if I can only find a good transcription....

Hi Thof,

Welcome to the forum! Please have a look at this page for some useful information to get you started, including links to the rules and helpfiles. After your second message has been approved, you will have access to all members' scores and recordings plus the first 3 levels of the Delcamp score collections. After you have posted 20 messages, you can apply for the 020 group, which will give you access to the remaining levels. Just ask if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you around!

Best wishes,

Hello Thof,

If you are so inclined, there's a big classical guitar festival this coming weekend in Greenville, at East Carolina University. Runs Saturday to Tuesday of next week.

Thanks Geoff, for the welcome message, and thanks David, for pointing me to the ECU festival. I had heard about it but had never gone out to attend. Maybe this year!
