Hola from California

Post by tigerfood » Tue Sep 12, 2017 9:18 pm

Hi,

I've been gleaning great information from this site and decided to join.

I started playing electric in my teens (in my 40s now). I struggled. I took lessons from a jazz guitarist for a little while, but he was too advanced for me. I still struggled. I gave up for a long time but picked it up again in my 30s. Once again, I struggled. Eventually I found my way to the classical guitar and everything became easier. I've been at it for maybe three years now, still self-teaching. Lots of work ahead...

Best,
Michael
