The instruments coming out of the Picado shop are some of the best values in classical guitars these days. The Picados combine great playability, a beautiful sound, excellent workmanship, and a long history of guitar making into an affordable guitar. For over 30 years, Antonio Picado has dedicated himself to the art of guitar making. He operates the Antonio Picado Workshop in Barcelona, Spain where he and a small group of experienced craftsmen devote themselves to building an excellent range of instruments that bring both the student and professional player guitars with sounds of the highest quality.

I have a Vowinkel 2a guitar built at the Picado workshop, and I can confirm all of the above.

The back looks to be lined with cedar? That is quite interesting.

Yes it's a double back as opposed to double top in the style of contreras, the build quality is outstanding.
