Title format for your ad:
COUNTRY price(as 5 characters) Luthier model wood(soundboard) year, City/Town-of-sale

($.7500 = $7500), dots are inserted to bring all prices to 5 characters, allowing the use of an ascending sort by subject. This will display ads in order of country and price. The function to sort in ascending (or descending) order of subject is available at the bottom of the page below the guitar sales listings.
Country codes may be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1

Ads are moved to the archives as soon as the guitar is sold. Ads that have had no response for more than one year will be moved to the archives. A message can be edited by its author for the first 21 days after posting, after which it is necessary to ask a moderator to make any changes.

Members who buy an instrument unseen do so at their own risk and should exercise due caution. For added security, it is advisable to use a licensed online escrow service (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escrow).

The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) means that some materials used in guitars, although formerly allowed, may now require permits or be illegal to sell across national borders, or even locally in some places. It is the responsibility of the buyer and seller to ensure that the sale complies with all applicable laws in their respective countries.

US $..190 Marlon Navarro (broken) guitar cedar 2015, Irvine CA

One brand new
(well, technically it isn't but I've only had it for less than one week before I dropped it on my laminate floor and it bounced and cracked in half)
Marlon Navarro guitar..

- Classical
- 2015
- 650mm
- Solid Cedar
-Solid Palo escrito
- cocobolo fret board
- Sound? (No sound)
- CRACKED IN HALF
- $190
-made in Paracho Mexico
- Trial or view in Irvine, CA
- Irvine, CA

I took it to 2 guitar repair places and both personnel said it wouldnt be a problem fixing it as it is sort of a clean break (there are a few splinters but they said it shouldn't be a problem)
It won't look great they said, but surely it will play again. They both quoted different prices, one is $200 the other he said $200+

I don't want to deal with it. I never played on it for more than 20 minutes may be total prior to dropping it.
I want to sell it and declutter my home.

Thanks.

Wow. Thats one hell of a break to occur from a drop.
Can i suggest you remove the string tension asap to limit the chances of further damge to the soundboard.

Unbelievable!
I am sorry to see this, Debussy, rather try to fix that, before you sell it, for that amount of money.
Good luck, you'll need it.

Thanks everyone. The drop wasn't actually a big one but it did surprise me as well it split like that. It fell from about my head level to the hard floor twice , splitting after the second bounce. The strings are actually slack on there it just looks like it is pulling.

If the shops are reliable, get it fixed before you sell. In its current you will only get chicken feed. The side breaks look perfectly clean - naturally we can't see is there is other damage. The quicker the repair is done the cleaner it will be which in turn means less visible. Once dirt gets on the breaks it will be harder to get a clean glue line.

p.s. if I were on your continent I would immediately take it. :-)

Well if anyone wants to fix it up and resell it be my guest.

I can take any additional photos for anyone who requests it. You'll need to wait as I am out of town at the moment.

Is there a chance that further damage might occur during shipment?

Have you considered donating it to a school or other organization? A call to your tax preparer or accountant might reveal a bit of silver lining. Just a thought.

Oh I'm gonna wrap this up in so much bubble and peanut. Double boxed but I most likely will sell it locally. I would have to repair it to donate it but to file for tax write off in the end it'll be cheaper if I just didn't repair it and tossed it. Anyways, but good thought and idea.
