Stupid question, did you contact Marlon Navarro? Maybe he'd fix it?
Or maybe one of the distrubutors in the US would help you with it.
It's a most unfortunate accident!
Sorry to see that.

Marlon is located in Mexico, so the cost of shipping there and back + repair costs doesn't make financial sense. The quote for $200 to repair it sounds very reasonable.

If the top can't be saved, there's a lot that goes into replacing it. Maybe the struts, etc. can be re-used as well as the rosette and bridge. But, if it can, then it's not really a hard evolution. Glue-up might be the beast. But if the side cracks can wait until the neckblock is solid, it gets a lot easier.
Wow, it is starting to look like a fun project.

Did you sell it? If not, can you re-state the price and shipping to Texas?
And best of luck,
Bob

I didn't sell it yet but I had taken quite a few pics if you want to see them. Just email me and I will send to you. I don't think shipping would be of interest to anyone as it will make it costly and I will not include it in the price stated above. I would say the cost is whatever most guitars w a hard case would cost via any major courier.

I sent you a pm. I haven't seen an email address. I'll keep looking, but I gave you mine as well.
Thanks,

Texted with the op about this, and he sent me a ton of pics. I withdraw my statement about the $200. It might very well be feasible. I'm amending my previous post to delete that.
The top is bent, and it's hard to tell what the underneath looks like. I don't blame him for not pushing the top any further. Leave well enough alone.

To the op, if you would like me to post those same pics on here, I'd be happy to tomorrow. Just let me know - text is fine if you want.

Did you sell this guitar? How damaged is the bottom that hit the floor? Or did it hit on the bottom? I live in Az and could pick it up.
Thanks,
David V.

You know, if you want to get rid of it, list it on the Bay for 99 cents with no reserve, with calculated shipping. Somebody will probably take it.

I heard the the first thing sold on there was a broken printer cartridge that nobody could believe would sell but it did.

There is a market for everything.

I managed to fix it myself.
It plays at a guitalele setting. But instead of higher (like it usually should over a guitar setting) I pitched it one octave lower. So as to not give it too much string tension.
I use it to practice my fingering piece memorization.

Still sounds very nice. Big and booming. However sounds like a bass sort of
