The above template covers the most essential details, but sellers should of course provide further information in their ad on any special features.

Title format for your ad:
COUNTRY price(as 5 characters) Luthier model wood(soundboard) year, City/Town-of-sale
For example:

US $.7500 Anselmo Solar Gonzalez cedar 1971, Ashburn, VA
($.7500 = $7500), dots are inserted to bring all prices to 5 characters, allowing the use of an ascending sort by subject. This will display ads in order of country and price. The function to sort in ascending (or descending) order of subject is available at the bottom of the page below the guitar sales listings.
Country codes may be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1

Ads are moved to the archives as soon as the guitar is sold. Ads that have had no response for more than one year will be moved to the archives. A message can be edited by its author for the first 21 days after posting, after which it is necessary to ask a moderator to make any changes.

Members who buy an instrument unseen do so at their own risk and should exercise due caution. For added security, it is advisable to use a licensed online escrow service (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escrow).

The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) means that some materials used in guitars, although formerly allowed, may now require permits or be illegal to sell across national borders, or even locally in some places. It is the responsibility of the buyer and seller to ensure that the sale complies with all applicable laws in their respective countries.

Stupid question, did you contact Marlon Navarro? Maybe he'd fix it?
Or maybe one of the distrubutors in the US would help you with it.
It's a most unfortunate accident!
Sorry to see that.

Marlon is located in Mexico, so the cost of shipping there and back + repair costs doesn't make financial sense. The quote for $200 to repair it sounds very reasonable.

If the top can't be saved, there's a lot that goes into replacing it. Maybe the struts, etc. can be re-used as well as the rosette and bridge. But, if it can, then it's not really a hard evolution. Glue-up might be the beast. But if the side cracks can wait until the neckblock is solid, it gets a lot easier.
Wow, it is starting to look like a fun project.

Did you sell it? If not, can you re-state the price and shipping to Texas?
And best of luck,
Bob

I didn't sell it yet but I had taken quite a few pics if you want to see them. Just email me and I will send to you. I don't think shipping would be of interest to anyone as it will make it costly and I will not include it in the price stated above. I would say the cost is whatever most guitars w a hard case would cost via any major courier.

I sent you a pm. I haven't seen an email address. I'll keep looking, but I gave you mine as well.
Thanks,
Bob

Texted with the op about this, and he sent me a ton of pics. I withdraw my statement about the $200. It might very well be feasible. I'm amending my previous post to delete that.
The top is bent, and it's hard to tell what the underneath looks like. I don't blame him for not pushing the top any further. Leave well enough alone.

To the op, if you would like me to post those same pics on here, I'd be happy to tomorrow. Just let me know - text is fine if you want.
