Kevin Aram Model Classical
Year:2014
Scale:650mm
Top: European Spruce
Back/Sides:Indian Rosewood
Fingerboard:Ebony
Condition:Mint
Price:£4750
Location:Birmingham
Viewing:welcome by arrangement
Stunning ,mint condition classical guitar by Kevin Aram. Commissioned by me and delivered in May 2014.This guitar is beautifully balanced with sweet trebles and a resonant bass.Having seen a previous model made by Kevin ,I specifically asked for the green purling and rosette design which I think makes this guitar a particularly handsome instrument. For a number of reasons (triggered by ill health and a bereavement) my serious commitment to playing took a back seat for quite some time and this guitar has hardly been used. When I do play I gravitate to my other guitar which explains the pristine condition of this one.As a consequence this is effectively new and with playing will open up even more.I have better resolution photos that get rejected by this site so please PM me with your email if you'd like them.Kevin Aram guitars are known for their musicality and their playability and this one is right up there with his best. The body has an oiled finish and looks amazing.I am selling mainly because I'm not using it and I need the cash for house repairs.Unfortunately, I do not have any sound clips nor sadly,do I have the ability or facility to produce one. However, any prospective buyer is welcome to trial the guitar in Birmingham. In case it gets asked, this is not Kevin's smaller Torres model but the one he refers to as the Aram model, a fine concert guitar. It does include the Hiscox case.Effectively ,if you desire a new Kevin Aram guitar, beat the wait and the price by looking at this first.

Thanks Ludwig, like most things , it looks better in "the flesh". I recently sold another Aram guitar, similar to this, to a Delcamp member in Aberdeen. He is absolutely delighted with it.

It's a nice looking guitar. It's probably worth including some information on nut width and current action. Many people like to know these figures if they are looking at an instrument.

Regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
Thanks for that.
The nut width is 52mm and as best as I can measure it ,the action at twelfth fret is top E 3mm and bottom E 4.5mm. Lower than my other Aram that we discussed. The tuners are Rodgers which I also didn't mention in the ad.

Regards,

Tony

Lovely guitar. I really like the green purling. Makes me wish I was in the market for a guitar. Good luck with the sale.
