US $.5000 Randy Angella spruce 2009, Sacramento, CA

Post by tubeman » Sun Jul 09, 2017 7:29 pm

Type / luthier: classical
- Year of construction: 2009
- Scale length (mm): 650
- Top: spruce
- Back / Sides: Brazilian rosewood (no international sales)
- Fingerboard / (bridge): Ebony/Br
- Tuners: Gotoh Premium
- Bracing: 7 fan
- Sound: extraordinary clarity and evenness--very sweet!
- Condition: very good: a very minor cosmetic ding here and there; a few thumbnail dings on the back of the neck
- Price: $5000 (they are now $10,000 new)
- Viewing / trial possible: yes--24 hours
- Location (nearest city): Davis (near Sacramento)

I'm selling this guitar simply because I don’t need two concert quality guitars. Everyone who has played it, including Jorge Caballero, has highly praised it! Angella's main influences are Hauser and Fleta, so you are buying a very traditional and beautiful sounding guitar. Humicase included. Has magnets for Kris Barnett support (not included). Buyer pays shipping.

The tiny dings don't really show up much in the photos, but it's in very good shape.

If I let my intuition speak, it's an extraordinary instrument!
Music is a big continent with different landscapes and corners. Some of them I do visit frequently, some from time to time and some I know from hearsay only ...

I am pretty sure this is my old guitar. If you search for me on YouTube playing the Sakura variations, you can get an idea of the sound.

I think you might have played it, but you never owned it! I bought it new from Randy in 2009. He took it to the Mannes Guitar Festival right after I bought it, where Jorge Caballero, David Tanenbaum, and I guess you got to play it! In fact, all of you played it before he handed it over to me!

Dear god...I just can't fathom the desire to sell it. The rosette colors is so well done. It's just a stunner. So what is the other guitar you will cherish more than that beauty?

I hope it goes to a good home. I'd have my sweaty stains over that shellac in no time if it were mine.
