I also own this book. Nearly all exercises are easily understood without words. There is lots of material for practising scales, arpeggios, tremolo, rasguado, speed, syncing of both hands... Enough stuff for a whole lifetime :D

the discussion is a bit old ... but mabye it comes back to life .... Käppel, Offermann:Moderne Gitarrentechnik and Kitharologus: The Path To Virtuosity are so great books.
