The GFA Archive

Post by Schneider » Thu Mar 28, 2013 12:40 pm

Dear All,

have a look at the Guitar Foundation of America :

Nice scans and mp3 too :bravo:

Have fun !
I went up into the attic and found a Stradivarius and a Rembrandt.
Unfortunately Stradivarius was a terrible painter and Rembrandt made lousy violins.

The recordings make it a learning tool as well as a library. Top marks to whoever came up with that idea.

Thanks, this is really cool.
Do you know where these pieces came from?
Is this an archive of all the pieces played at each annual GFA competition, or simply uploaded over time by online GFA members?

I may be wrong, but I think these are pieces that have appeared in the GFA magazine Soundboard.
