This is wonderful. Lovely playing. Could I ask what used microphone(s) you used to record this with?

Hi Leyenda. Nice playing. This is the first time that Sunburst has ever sounded musical to me. :-)
I have listened to the full piece twice in a row just now. Another first for 2016.

I have heard it mentioned various times and listened to various recordings on youtube, or to be more precise the beginnings of various recordings as I couldn't be bothered listen to the whole thing. I doubt if it will make it to my top 10 list but if it does, it will be your version.

Thank you indeed.

I recorded this with my zoom h1 - i think i had it a bit too far away i might record again if i have time to get a beeter sound. Also i used a different bit rate which seems to distort the sound when uploaded - my recordings on my laptop sound completely different to the ones uploaded to the forum.

Great playing! Really enjoyed it, the 'twiddly bits' are especially good!
Thanks

Well done, leyenda. Very nice playing. I'm sure it would have sounded even better live. Mp3 and bitrates certainly can compromise

some recordings :( . But at least it allows us to listen to stuff that ordinarily may be unavailable.

Wow, what a great performance. Seems like an incredibly challenging piece of music.

Thank you, leyenda. It's a very hard piece, but you played so beautiful. It must take you plenty of time to exercise it.

Really enjoyed this one! You should consider recording the introduction as well.
I started playing again just recently and I think I might have a crack at some Andrew York pieces now!

leyenda is just a ridiculously good guitarist. I hope that he gets a lot of joy from his playing; he certainly conveys it here.
