I have re-thought the left hand fingering on the descent a couple of times. I had not considered that the "harp like" notation applied to the whole section, but thought it applied to the opening measure of it due to the over-lapping of the open string notes. However, I can see how at least that feeling should be applied to the whole section and it explains some of the fingering choices York made. That will inform my practice as I continue to work on the piece. I may explore the fingering a bit more with that in mind.
