Hi everyone,

Here is my recording of Simone Iannarelli's L'Ultimo Caffe' Insieme. I did get permission from Simone, and confirmed it with one of the moderators. I appreciate any comments.

Nice performance Kirk. I read an article about "somber" music this morning. Thought I'd pass it along. It makes the case that introspective music is more apt to inspire mind-wandering visuals. Just wondering, but did you have a visual in mind when you performed this?

Not visual, but in my mind? If there was any piece I would choose to play at my dad's funeral last year, this would have been it. Because coffee was crucially important to his love of endless conversation. Not good coffee, just any sort. "Wait, I'm not done my coffee yet." Drove me nuts but that was him.

Playing was not for me that day, though my son was brilliant on piano.

Kurt,
Very beautiful, soulful. Thanks for sharing a composer who was until now not known to me.
