Ayreonaut, thank you!
Kervoas, unfortunately I don't have the score right now, I learned this piece a few years ago. I remember that it was some german edition (not sure) and this piece had wrong key signature. It's pretty much the same as 1971 version from here: http://www.brazil-on-guitar.de/tabs.html , just more harmonized.

Thank you Harmox. That's the version I was using. You say "just more harmonised" - I think you have done it perfectly.
I'll have a go at doing the same, but it won't be easy !

That would most likely be the old Tonos edition. They published three volumes of Powell's works. And they did leave the key markings out along with a host of other errors.

As a brazilian it's really nice to see people from all over the world playing brazilian songs. We have so many good composers: Dilermando Reis, Ernesto Nazareth, João Pernambuco, Baden Powell, Egberto Gismonti, Heitor Villa-Lobos, etc. Thanks for posting!

Hi, Marceleza! Yes, Brazil is rich of great composers, I hope to explore more of them in the future. Thank you for listening!

Well done and thanks.
I'm playing this, too, and I was wandering about fingerings, rubatos and the like.
Your recording helps me a lot - besides it's very beautiful.

Music is a big continent with different landscapes and corners. Some of them I do visit frequently, some from time to time and some I know from hearsay only ...
