Pujol's "Verde Alma"-advice for how to play.

Post by instanes » Mon May 08, 2017 1:52 pm

I have been working this piece for the last few weeks. However, it seems no matter how I try, I can not play the progression starting at measure 36, such that it sounds like music. My practice time has basically boiled down to working on just these few measures. Pretty much have to "crunch" my way through them. If any one has any advice playing these measures, I would be most appreciative.

Or, and I know this is heresy, is there is a way to simplify this section...well I would be open to that as well. Have even considered eliminating the whole section....

So that is it. I would like to learn this piece and stay as true as possible to Pujol's original.

Any advice most appreciated.

Hi instanes!

What exactly is your problem with this section of "Verde Alma"?
I wouldn't say that the rest of the piece is easier than these measures.
Is it the movement/stretch of the 3rd finger of the left hand?

Unfortunately, the answer can only be: No. :desole: :)

Movement/stretch of the 3rd finger is exactly it. Should have included that in my OP.
