Sounds good Roger, you might want to count the beat or tap your foot or use metronome. You have rhythm problem. Keep it up the good work, Roger :bravo:

Hi Andreas,
I listen to both of these videos sound great. Only suggestion I have is when are you going to start growing finger nails ?
Using your finger nail will give you a different sound. I am trying to grow them but keeping them manicured is hard.

Binh NguyenKhac wrote:Hi classmates, , here's my videos for our 3rd lesson. I appreciate your feedback :) I have a question though: how to reduce the buzz created by friction when moving left hand fingers from a fret to another one, especially in my "Lo, nous marchons sur un étroit chemin" video. I hate this awful sound!

Very Good, Binh
I may follow your example and count out loud to help my timing.

Sorry for the delay. Here are my recordings. Been busy!

Hi Rodaan, overall pretty good, keep it up. On the Lo, nous marchons sur un étroit chemin composition, part B had some rough spots, but it can be smoothed out with some very slow repetitions, then increasing speed once the notes and rhythm are mastered.

Hi Roger, pretty good overall, Binh mentioned the timing that can be fine-tuned. If you have a smartphone, there are some free metronomes that are pretty good, just dial-in a slow tempo and then play with the metronome beat as a guide.

In SI SI RE, be mindful of the rests in m11, m13, m15-m18. You can try grazing your index or middle finger across the string to dampen the ringing tones. The sheet music has some helpful reminders of the finger that can be used to dampen.

Its really good Roger, better on timing :bravo:

One minor item, let the half-notes ring out for their full duration (in common time) 2 beats per measure.
The half notes are just getting cut-off a little bit sooner than full duration in m2, m4, m8, and m12.
