been gone for a little while

Post by tgwilt » Fri Jan 06, 2017 8:00 pm

Hi all,

I've been gone for awhile. I was trying to regain some ability after suffering a stroke in 2014. My left had suddenly stopped working. Physical therapy and neurological analysis yielded nothing. Very frustrating. Just starting to regain some movement, so will try again.

Best wishes to all,

Tom

Best wishes on your continued recovery, Tom. Be patient with yourself and keep asking your body to do your bidding. Sometimes the brain finds a way of rewiring the neural circuit ...

That is a tough deal to get. Best of luck and persistence with your recovery. Hope you will find inspiration in the guitar to push yourself forward.

We will be rooting for you! I think I recall the singer Odetta observed that merely strumming the open strings of a guitar made her feel a healing presence. May your music bring you comfort and aid your recovery.
