66 Years Late.

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

In 1949, a younger Tan Kok Keng was congratulated by the then Governor of Singapore during the Annual Review as a recipient of the King's Badge. Somehow, due to a lapse in stock orders, the award never arrived.

After revealing the 'secret' 66 years later, the 84 year-old took possession of his award this evening. He was the first King's Man after the war and the only one in his cohort. The next batch of King's Men would follow some 3 years later.

Thank you @Rob Bolton for helping make this possible with your generous gift.

Tonight, the Brigade makes good its promise to a fine Boy.
