Hi all I am new to all this kind of stuff so forgive me, I am just wondering if there are any other Irish members out there? I am only new to classical guitar as well and would welcome some suggestions as how to get myself to practice every day. I just never seem to have time and am really tired after seven pm. Pity pathetic but any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi Cathy,

We certainly do have quite a few Irish members, as you can see from this list, which is the result of a search for "Ireland" in the titles of topics in "Introduce Yourself".

As for practice routines, you may find tips in some of the discussions on this list, which is a search of all topics with "practice" in the title, though not all are relevant - just click on any with promising titles.

Speaking of coffee, I live in the land of coffee. I drink a pot every beautiful morning, and every morning is beautiful where I live. This time of year, I like thinking there's only one more month of "summer" left, but that's only because I know that the temperature will be the same, winter or summer. The only difference between winter & summer here is that in "winter" it rains for a few hours each day, while in summer, it doesn't. I live in middle earth, Costa Rica, and feel like the whole world revolves around this particular spot..and it probably really does.

Speaking of Café, I live in the land of Cafés. It is the usual place where you get together to chat ('au petit café du coin'), and to discuss about very important topics  . You can get 'un pti noir' (black coffee) or any other drinks. Since several years, smoking is forbidden. It used to be places full of smoking people. Now, smokers have to stay outside. Much better for the health. So you find now that streets with cafés are very animated with many people outside smoking and chatting. :)

Haven't had a cup of coffee in weeks, and haven't visited here in weeks.
Sitting here with a cup of dark coffee, enjoying reading some posts.

I am new (well, previously deleted for inactivity) and am not sure what constitutes a 'message'. Is it the same as a 'post'?.
On the cafe and coffee, mine's an americano with 2 sugars + a dash of milk.

That's right, Noel, a message is the same as a post (except for private messages, and they don't count towards your posting requirements anyway).
