I just watched Joni Mitchell sing Big Yellow Cab on telly. Interesting. She has the guitar tuned to open D, has a capo on fret 4 and thus plays and sings it in the key of F#.

Listening to BBC Radio 3 recent live recording with Symphony no. 2 by Edison Denisov ("my composer"), Alban Berg-Violin Concerto with Patricia Kopatchinskaja (wonderwoman) and Shostakovich Symphony no. 15. Vladimir Jurowski conducts the London Philharmonic :-)

The cd, "Timeless Melodies for Guitar," by David Jaggs
I saw his website mentioned in a post on here about a week ago, and I bought one of his arrangements and one of his cd's.

The Seventies, with hindsight, had a lot of good things going on. I wish I had made more of them at the time!
