What music are you listening to right now?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

Klaus Nomi. The cold song from Henry Purcell's Opera King Arthur. Nomi was amazing as counter tenor.

Anything and everything by Jason Isbell. It's not classical but it will be classic some day. ;-)

Hi

I have recently started to listen to Andrea Bocelli.
I also like to listen to 80's music on Wednesdays :-)

I'm lucky. I know someone whose girlfriend runs a house-clearing/shop business, and she has started offloading classical CDs onto me, as they don't shift. I was fearing lollipops, but yesterday there were three Benjamin Britten among the dozen I was given, including a cellophane-wrapped Serenade, Les Illuminations, Nocturne that I am listening to now.

And right now I'm listening to Grieg's violin sonatas. Curious: Grieg wrote a lot of more recognisable music in his Norwegian dances (which I admit I haven't listened to since the 70s), and they are both recognisable and yet lollipops; but these violin sonatas are just 100% personality-less generic "classical music".

Deftones 'Diamond eyes'. Wasn't convinced by 'nu-metal' because the band Korn were not impressive to this listener but trying out some cheap charity shop albums from Deftones and their stuff isn't too bad. Well better than Korn imo.
Wait for CG purists to ask ' Who ARE these bands...?'
