What music are you listening to right now?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

"Just Between Frets" Tommy Emmanuel and Frank Vignola
I bought the cd the other day through Tommy Emmanuel's facebook page. It was a fund raising project, to raise money for Frank Vignola, who had an accident and is unable to play. The cd is signed by both of them!

I've only heard/got 'Gruts'.
Is Velvet Donkey good? How does it compare to Gruts if you've heard that one too? Same strange world/humour, I assume.

I don't think I've ever heard Gruts. I've got Life in a Scotch Sitting Room and Velvet Donkey (I nearly typed VD). They mostly vary in the amount of music in them. Velvet Donkey has Fred Frith (Henry Cow's guitarist) on viola and Phyllis King. It's all on Youtube (actually, it isn't - I wanted to post Go and Sit Upon the Grass as well, but couldn't find it, except in the form of covers).

Bach's Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor played by Christopher Herrick.

This would make a challenging and thrilling guitar duet, with lots of opportunity for orchestral color!
