Hello.

I have owned the attached Terada guitar for just over a year and am looking at selling it.

The only thing is that searching Google is giving me nothing to go on, so am a bit stuck.

Is anyway able to take a look at the images attached and give me a rough idea of how much I could potentially get for the guitar please.

Even a point in the right direction would be great.

The model is hard to read but it is either G306 or G308.

Thanks

Gareth

hello Gareth,

I have a Terada classical guitar quite similar to yours except the model number is G330. When I bought it in 1974 I was told it's a copy of the Ramirez 1a but with 650 scale, cedar top, orange lacquer and carved head. The sound is nothing compared to the Ramirez 1a but it has a very pleasant tone and very easy to play. As for price of yours, I wouldn't expect more than US $100.00 in such condition.

I purchased a Terada S616 on a Goodwill auction. I have serial number 16427. Does that mean it is pre-1949? It's got some dings, etc. and I've cleaned it up a lot. The sound is very good with new strings and needs new tuners. I think it was a student guitar, never was expensive, but it's a perfect beginner guitar for me to learn fingerstyle playing. Does anyone know anything about this model, and do I have the age right on it, given the serial number?

Hello,
I recently came across this Thumb by Terada acoustic guitar. Model is MW-40. Solid top, laminated 2 piece back, gold tuners and white binding all around body, neck and headstock. Serial # H805035-40. Inside a wooden tag that says Handmade Thumb No MW-40 Made by Terada. Any info on this model? Is it a copy of a Martin? I can't find any references to this specific model.

Greetings, Martijn

Hi all,

Firstly, a big thank you to those that have put this site & club together :)

The first and only guitar I own is a Terada. I love it. The numbers on my Terada are: 1266 and 540531 with the letter K under the serial number. Any advice on the age of my Terada would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, WC
