What sheet music did you buy last and why?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

Very nice George. I just ordered my copy of these. Thank you for making me aware of it.

"Wild Classical Guitar" by Timothy Royal
It has three pieces: 1) "Cool Blues" 2) "13" 3) "Study in Stomp"
I wanted something 'different,' and I enjoy playing blues.

I just bought Walton's Five Bagatelles from the "Big River" site. I really want to learn to play it and I need a good challenge. I figure that will keep me busy for awhile.

I bought "Two Venezuelan Waltzes" by Antonio Lauro, which includes "El Negrito" and "La Gatica". I wanted to try playing Lauro, and "El Negrito" seems like one of the easier Lauro piece. It is still a difficult piece for me.

My teacher gives me copies of music to study. When I like the music then I buy it.
I have been working on this with my teacher for the past 2-3 years (we work on other pieces also). We skipped a few, and I am up to number 12. At this rate, this book will last me a long time. Other than the 20 Etudes, my copy also includes ~15 other pieces, so, more Brouwer for Brouwer fans!

I bought Domeniconi's Koyunbaba after seeing this incredible YouTube video:

Search YouTube for Paulo Martelli plays Koyunbaba.

I'm not proficient enough to play it yet, but I'll learn it one day.

Oblivion by Astor Piazzolla, arranged by one of our own, Denian Arcoleo. The guitar is not capable of doing this piece justice, but Denian did a great job to capture some of its spirit.

David Jaggs' arrangement of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, because I've always loved the song and I like his arrangement.
