This is a really good thread and it would be a shame to see it die, particularly when there are obviously many older members in this forum.

My next ten:

Lee Ritenour: Portait;
Joni Mitchell: Don Juan's Reckless Daughter;
Joyce: Meus Momentos;
Yo Yo Ma: Obrigado Brazil;
Spyro Gyra: Carnaval;
Spyro Gyra: Morning Dance;
Spyro Gyra: Catching the Sun;
Wynton Marsalis: All Rise;
Paco Pena: Flamenco Passion; and
Charlie Byrd and Aldemaro Romero: Onda Nueva - The New Wave

Cheers,
Malcolm

Boy I have so many - I'm going to have to list a bunch and maybe some of you out there will get some ideas and do some musical exploring. I am glad that the thread did not die and thank you for your enthusiastic replies.
One of my real favorite is Chick Corea "my spanish heart" . I think he was really inspired when he composed this stuff.

I am happy that there are still people around who admit that they had an other life before CG..The classical purists sometimes remember me this viewtopic.php?f=1&t=87727&p=942564#p942564

Or Bill Clinton who admitted that he did smoke dope but he did not inhale. Don't get me wrong - I am glad not getting dizzy anymore and I absolutely love CG but I find it healthy to be in peace with the past and to see the beauty in it.

The past is only a second ago. I just purchased Julio Iglesias: Greatest Hits Deluxe Edition (no apologies). I'd like to bring it along.

I guess my most embracing passion was John Denver, I was about 13 then. I also remember Melanie, she was absolutely fantastic. I think this is more about the magic of the voice. Human voice has really something and perhaps in future they will discover CG and voice. I have a friend who does that and it works very well.

I like Melanie and Minnie Riperton. I wasn't into John Denver but I did go to one of his concerts (I was never big on concerts). I was dating a girl that liked him, so I went. In the '50's I was into doo wop, then Motown. I worked for a record company in the '60's and was able to get my music for next to nothing.
