Other hobbies/interests?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

I tried chess in my twenties but didn't get anywhere with it and didn't like it.
I much prefer bridge, cribbage, dominoes and backgammon.

I play piano. Basically it is my main instrument, and guitar would be considered my 'other' hobby , for now. Maybe it'll change later. Piano is a beast of an instrument let me tell you.

Sushi, sake, and beer - making and brewing the same. In fact, my son and I just had a sushi practice session and made inside-out rolls of various types, and I served home-brewed sake aged 1 full year+. I have a red ale ready to drink now.

If you live in the SF Bay Area, we can meet to examine each other's guitar(s) and sip homebrew!

A good halibut nigiri is the bomb. Soooo good. A good beer or sake w delectable sushi is a fantastic experience, making me hungry.

I suspect I have too many (well maybe not too many!), besides CG, they are:
- computer programming;
- Electronics and,
- beekeeping.
I like them all but the two main are computer programming and classical guitar. I use to think that if I want to take CG seriuously I'll have to drop CP. Maybe one day I'll take that decision...
Ah, and them I have my work and my family - yes definitely I have too many hobbies!
Hugs for everybody

Competitive handgun shooting. I had to give that one up. It got too expensive. I needed the money to fund my number one hobby, the guitar. I still collect antique toys. In a few years, when my wife is of retirement age, i will sell my collection.

Slow running is the best running. I run just fast enough to get the heart rate and my breathing up and no faster. I can go for my miles. And I only go on dirt. It's a good thing.

Good to hear from a fellow slow runner. Best and most convenient natural exercise in my book. Like you, I refuse to run on a treadmill.
