Your favourite Netflix series?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

Your favourite Netflix series?

Post by Erik Zurcher » Sun Oct 04, 2015 9:23 pm

Anyone on Netflix? Which films or series do you recommend?

I can recommend 'Peaky blinders'. The title refers to group of gangsters from Birmingham (UK) just after WWI. They wore tailored suits and caps with razor blades. Highly recommended!

We are pretty addicted to a cheesy Western detective series called Longmire, about a lonely and eccentric sherrif and colleagues working on the borders of the Cheyenne reservation in Wyoming. Frankly I am not sure I can recommend it as "good" but it does suck viewers in pretty effectively. My ihusband and I have reached the point where we don't watch an episode without the other present as it has become a family viewing orgy.

Right you are! Watching episode by yourself... sad, isn't it?

It is a good way to watch TV. At present our viewing consists of "Prison Break". We enjoyed "Breaking Bad" before that. We are pretty hooked on these series so we don't watch movies. :|

I savor each episode of Mad Men.

For silly and absurd, my favorite is Danger 5. It's not very long though.

The S.O. and I enjoy all the HGTV programs too (Property Brothers, House Hunters, Etc.) For cooking TV, our favorite by far is Mind of a Chef. I'm not sure if all of these are available internationally.

Mad Men was brilliant and Breaking Bad too. Haven't found anything close to these yet. Quite enjoyed Lillehammer.....

Netflix content varies hugely from country to country.

I understand Netflix is reducing the number of movies it offers in the US to focus more on series etc.

Dr. Who is the favorite in our family today.
After Big Bang Theory has been watched hundreds of times :)

How could I forget!? The first couple seasons are endlessly re-watchable.
