Aranjuez Brillante Silver 500

Post by oc chuck » Wed Jul 12, 2017 3:50 am

These bass strings are silver on brass.

Can anyone who has played them weigh in?
Maybe compare them with D'addario basses or know of any
older threads about them....

Thanks

Don't know these basses but if you search for Aranjuez Suave 800 which features basses of the same compositions just lower tension, you might find some comments of value for you!?

I personally do like them (Suave!). Slightly thinner than their copper counterpart, nice harmonics, well focused with sufficient weight and they are expected to last longer ... if they don't break. This has happened to me more frequently than with any other set and there is another desperate thread about this issue. Not sure if that's just something from the past that has been solved now?! Haven't used them for quite some time now!

Nice. Good weight with a balance of warmth and brightness. Well with trying.
