Talking vs. Hearing

Post by LarryATahoe » Sun Sep 10, 2017 8:45 pm

You can go to my website - www.larryguitar.com - and click at top right to hear a recent performance of mine.
Guitar is a 2013 Jason Wolverton Spruce/Lattice. Strings are D'Addario EJ45 1, 4, 5, 6 and Knobloch carbon medium 2, 3.
Lately I'm using Cantiga medium 1,2,3,4 which is more what the guitar was designed for and EJ45 5,6. I'll record something with that combo next.
I like both sets. Haven't found the perfect 5,6 basses but EJ45 are about as good as any.

Cantiga are bass strings. So if you are using Savarez trebles (1,2,3) this will be Alliance or New Cristal (of a mix if you use a creation set).

Yes you're right! I use Alliance so I don't usually think in terms of Cristal.
