I always use D'Addario EJ45. For me they are reliable, in tune and have a good robust feel to them. They are the perfect blank canvas on which to start using colour and dynamic, every quality is nicely balanced from the start with these strings and I can immediately start to think about cultivating timbre and dynamic.

Thank you for replying, Matthew. Yes, I like EJ45s too although a month ago I switched to EJ45FF. I'll probably switch back again soon though. :)
