Post by kertsopoulos » Sat Dec 10, 2016 3:51 pm

Once a guitar is re-constructed it is considerably upgraded in acoustic performance. Each guitar needs its own re-constructional design to suit its specific intonation and wood surface tuning plus the specific primary and secondary Helmholtz resonances. Your feedback will greatly be appreciated.
Overview and details with video and photos of a traditional classical guitar being re-constructed to "Kertsopoulos Aesthetics" by Yorgos Kertsopoulos bearing pedal effects, new light wood fret board and acoustic intonation wooden patterns on the soundboard and head stock front and back acoustic design with back and sides wooden acoustic overlay strips. The work of Y.Kertsopoulos "If the soul spoke" is heard
performed by him and found on track 11 of the CD: "Kertsopoulos Aesthetics".

Yorgos Kertsopoulos interprets his work "Passo Doble" on a double course pedal modified and upgraded guitar. The instrument is a Spanish made six single string guitar and it has been modified and has been upgraded by Yorgos to a double course pedal guitar conforming to "Kertsopoulos Aesthetics" acoustic standards in regard to double course sonority. String construction is by: Yorgos Kertsopoulos and at the end of the video is seen the high and mixed tuning of the double courses, where mainly the 0 fret tuning of the open strings=7th fret tuning but with the 4th and 5th string employing double octaves between each two course tuning. The recording of audio and video is done with the zoom Q3HD and the sound has been left as recorded from the two microphones, without adding any audio filters, equalizers, reverb or any other effects whatsoever.
