Not a perfect performance, but hopefully you'll like the music. Robert de Visée wrote some magnificent theorbo music, which I'm sure would fit on a modern classical guitar, six strings or otherwise.

Wonderful, dear Rob.

De Visée also wrote a superb setting of la Royalle for baroque guitar.
And the funny thing is that this piece also works very well on a low-g uke....

Congrats an regards,
Gilles

PS : BTW, thanks again for the portuguese baroque guitar collection I purchased from your site. Some pieces are of the highest quality; the "fantasia 1 tom de Monteyro" being an absolute and breathtaking masterpiece.

Cheers, Gilles. I agree about the Monteyro.

The baroque guitar version is excellent too.

Beautiful piece, excellent performance, and what a fine sounding instrument! Those low bass notes are striking.

Thanks. Yes, it's a fine instrument indeed. Made in 2002. I just bought it a month ago.

A most enjoyable piece and performance. I too am a fan of Robert de Visee.
