It reminds me of an old Segovia Album I had, but forget the name. I am sure you will get some quick action!

Good luck

yes. The whole first book of Castles of Spain is great. Check out Romance of The Pines it's in the same suite. Book 2 from Castles of Spain is much less played and less well known. I would start with book 1 it has this piece and a few other great ones.

I had learned Romance de Los Pinos many years ago and loved it, now I have to relearn it. I have a bit of muscle memory, but if I recall it was not that hard of a piece. Castles of Spain by Segovia was my fist album and loved listening to it.

Torija is so beautiful, I worked through the first book of them a while back and dusted off Torija a month or so ago. Very rewarding piece. If you have the GSP edition, try out some of the original material noted in the first couple pages before Segovia did some of his edits.

Thanks for the mention of Torija, I will have to do a search as I am not sure I have it. Back when I had the Segovia album I was taking lessons and most likely got the other piece from my teacher.

An interesting footnote here. If you go to the "Dream Guitars" website you will find that most of their inventory of classical guitars includes a sample performance on that specific guitar. And most of them are this piece performed by the same guitarist (which makes it interesting). Here is one of those

Hearing the same piece performed by the same guitarist on different instruments is interesting.
