Evangelios Assimakopoulos plays Decameron Negro

Post by HrothgarZachachaeus » Fri Feb 03, 2017 3:59 pm

If you haven't seen this, it's available on youtube. I can't get this performance out of my head. It's incredible and inspiring. I may be wrong in associating the word 'virtuosic' with pure technical prowess. This is virtuosic playing, to be sure, but the musicality and interpretive quality of this performance is truly sublime.

I agree, fascinating!

How does he make this amazing sound at 7:30-7:50? The right hand is close to the brighe but the sound is so soft

Everything he plays is amazing, listen to Capricho Arabe!
