Hauser II for Glassy......

Post by ChristianSchwengeler » Sat Sep 16, 2017 8:55 pm

I did run into this video about a week ago, and I find it a really relevant recording, of Edson Lopes of course, but also of this very nice Hauser II. This is a professional production, even like that...If you explore the channel of Edson Lopes you can find a lot of nice videos, also with links for free sheet music of the pieces, bit.do/classicalguitar, check for example Cameron; Pedro, or many other lesser known composer, very nice and most are not very dificult.

I have admired his videos. Ever notice a lot of them look as if they're recorded in a men's locker room or something? This one you posted is definitely not one of those.

I think Glassy would do a Hauser II proud.

Yeah, men's locker, had the same impression, and he is switching form one guitar to an other between videos. I found that too, very nice recordings, and nice pieces.

Absolutely, I was allways expecting that Glassy would show up with a new instrument after all the discussion about not beeing so poor anymore because of the natural way of things. I found this on Youtube and he could really benefit of a better guitar, even if I like his interpretation and it is well done. Madroños (F.M. Torroba) Played live by Glassy on 2-7-17

With his inheritance I think Glassy will jump over HH2 straight to HH1. Why muck around?

Aaron Green must have some for sale....This one sounds nice to me. Kevin Gallagher was once at Guitarmania in Lisbon, and I had a Masterclass with him. I found him a very nice person and his concert also was really fantastic. I was even able to show him one of my instruments and he liked it a lot. At that time he used to play on a completley scratched up Byers which sounded just amazing, and I could take a look into it.
