John Duarte's Birds (Op. 66)

Post by GentlemanGhost » Fri Aug 25, 2017 4:26 pm

I've only just discovered the music of Duarte and this piece has especially captured my attention. Unfortunately I have been unable to find the sheet music or any real information about it, only a few YouTube performances. If anyone has any leads or just knows the story behind this piece, I'd really appreciate some help!

You can order it from Guitar Solo in San Francisco.
John Duarte has some of the most musical classical guitar compositions of the 20th Century.
I highly recommend you purchase Antigoni Goni's CD of John Duarte's music. This is a recording you will cherish.
Glad you found his music.
