Excellent - C'était déjà la "mondialisation" avant l'heure.Fabbri wrote:Thanks for the reference, Vlad. I'm trying to register now with the RIAM library to get online access. Sounds very promising. I hope francis privet hasn't lost heart after all this time and still checks his posts for a reply.
What a stirring example of international connectivity: someone in Cornwall responds to a French request for information which is then supplied from America about a woman born in Germany who married an Englishman. And the answer lies in Ireland....

I would be very curious to know if the PhD of @jimmy6strings got published!
I just released a CD including 7 of the Songs without words and I play now quite often her Carneval in concerts- and I am so curious to meet more of her music not yet discovered. Ulrich Wedemeier published a CD with music by her played on guitars that once belonged to her. There is also the piece on it of Tarrega dedicated to her which was mentioned in this thread before.
So a lot is going on in research!
Here a little bit of my album playing Pratten's "Forgotten"
Excellent. Good luck finding the rest of it and do let us know.Heike Matthiesen wrote:Thank you so much @Stephen , I found and already contacted James Westbrook, that was a huge help from you!!
Still looking for a complete list of the works of MSP, there is a long list of works of Sidney Pratten in the Janna MacAuslan catalogue, but it is not listed where to find all the pieces...
