Part of the reason for these videos is so the student can watch their playing and see any issues that I point out. Aside from the pinky, there's the sitting position, and RH thumb positioning as well. These things I discuss with them during our lesson.
Of course, the positives are highlighted as well, like how he played each piece from memory, the IM alternation in the scale passages and the way that he doesn't let small mistakes affect his performance. Of course, the thing that ties everything together is his big smile after he takes a bow at the end.
