GFA Youth Fest 2010 - Ensemble Performance

Post by AndreaCannon » Wed Oct 06, 2010 11:20 pm

This is a performance from the GFA in Austin, Texas June 2010

The showcase event of the Youth Festival was the 200-person Youth Guitar Orchestra which was conducted by Dr. Michael Quantz of UT/Brownsville.
In addition to that event, ensembles from various studios were invited to perform for a critique.

The group is my Advanced Trio and the piece is another by Texas Composer Eddie Healy.

Hey, There...

Thanks for the comment. Were you at GFA? DQ is a great teacher and has really helped with raising the level of guitar education in Texas. He's a hard worker and great at getting everyone to network for educational events.

Hope you enjoy your studies there at UT Brownsville!!
