My son's video recitals

Postby Perfecto De Castro » Fri Feb 22, 2013 5:17 pm

Youtube

He's been learning guitar mostly on his own with minimal input from me. I find that he takes my critiques really seriously so I let him figure out stuff on his own for the most part. I step in when I see a possible bad habit/technique forming or when he comes to me when he can't figure something out. So far this approach seems to be working out great for him.

Color me proud :D

Very nice. Just wondering, how old is your son and what type of guitar is he playing? I ask because my daughter might be interested in guitar. Thanks.

He's 11. The guitar is an Aria, it's roughly the same size as a Yamaha cs40

Husay sir :)... I really like the way you guide your son in discovering the guitar... My daughter is just 3 months old- I just can't wait to teach her some guitar stuffs:)

I hope in a few years he can play here in the PHILIPPINES :) Or maybe a duet with you :) That's exciting to watch:)

Wonderful. Beautiful boy so into music. Reminds me of my son David. You do well to keep it light and allow him to find his own way. There's time to be more technical.
What size guitar is he using?
