Performance of appreciation

Post by KeMe » Thu Aug 15, 2013 11:18 pm

About a year ago, one of our Delcamp members gave a Thomas Prisloe guitar to one of my students. Here is the video of AR's recording of appreciation to the gentleman who gave it to him.
I've been AR's music teacher since he was 6 years old and began teaching him guitar when he was 9. That year he would sneak into the back of my guitar classes before school and get down one of the guitars, sit in the back and think that I couldn't see him. There was no way that I would ever have asked him to leave.
He is an amazing kid... he will graduate from high school this next school year.

What Kay didn't mention was that A.R. has also received a guitar-study scholarship to a local university. It was awarded to him after a couple of the university's music professors, while just passing by, overheard him playing with some friends.
Well done A.R.!!
