Thanks cadiz; your pdf illustrates the excellent lute tablature output that MuseScore provides. I'm familiar with the original and I'm glad to see that you've rescored it for the renaissance lute rather than the original English theorbo; however I notice you seem to have left out an ///a from the last beat of bar 8; and from the 2nd beat of bar 9.

Maybe. I used the midi file from Gerbode and entered the file in MuseScore quickly (I have no time, by now, to check, sorry). Tomorrow, or next days.

AFAIK the Mac version of MuseScore is the only Mac application that will display bass notes below the stave that sound on playback.
