Schumann, Robert - Traumerei [FAC]

Post by williamgroome » Thu Mar 01, 2012 8:34 pm

Here is a very nice version of Traumerei by Schumann arranged for guitar by George Barker(American) in 1887. This comes from his book "Superb guitar Solos".

Do you have this book? I was given a copy in about 1977 by a college professor, it had originally belonged to HIS grandfather. There's some nice material there. I particularly like "L'Ingenue" waltz, early on in the book.

Hello David,
Yes, I have the book. My copy is a bit beat up but good for scanning and playing from. The L'Ingenue march is nice.

Here is the version transcribed by Tarrega. (He called it "Reverie.")

Hello,

Unluckily the uploaded file appears to have a missing part! Adobe reader is unable to open it without an error. It is possible for you to check it and make the upload again?

Thanks!!

Unfortunately a move of server resulted in the loss of many of our attached files. Some have been replaced and a programme is underway to replace as many others as possible - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=91433. It is a mammoth task.
