This is a Special Grand Concert “Miguel Rodriguez” model, built in 2016 by the noted luthier, Francisco Navarro. It features a solid cedar top, with solid cocobolo back and sides, an ebony fingerboard and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. It is 650 scale, 52mm nut, French polish, with fret markers at 5 and 7, and of course, a beautiful humicase.
The guitar has a full, rich sound with resonant basses and bright trebles. The projection is strong and is what you would expect in a Rodriguez design.
It is in mint condition, with the exception of a tiny mark on the soundboard which will not show up on a photo. The action is excellent, and there is plenty of saddle to lower it if desired.
I am selling the guitar because I simply have too many classical guitars to play and keep up with.
The original price was $3500. I am offering it at $2400, and I will pay shipping within the continental U.S.
I’m sorry, but I cannot offer a trial period, since I don’t want to take chance of it being damaged through multiple shipments.
That spot in the first two photos is a light reflection.
